Towards harmony and balance

Your self-care is important in this crazy time. Do what you feel is right to lessen stress. Fear and panic effect the immune system.

In this section I offer you ideas and tools for health and healing.

Please note:

These are only suggestions, check with your own primary healthcare worker.

“The Key to all this is to keep your immune system healthy and do not go into FEAR!!

– Da Vid Raphael MD

Self-care is Activism

Kelley Brogan, MD

“I’ve always known that self-work is the only work, and that self-care is the most radical form of activism there is. It was as if we’d been training for this moment all along.

Now I know that it has never been more important to come together with those who speak freely about their vision for a more beautiful reality, and take personal responsibility and inspired action towards cultivating it.

It has never been more important to understand the new biology and science-based myth-busting to accelerate your healing.

It has never been more important to learn how to feel afraid without feeling powerless, how to take charge of our lived experience and create the new reality we seek.”

You will find many tools for healing and self-care at Kelly’s website:

My thoughts on healthy balance

Here’s my little list of things I’ve found helpful in creating more balance in my body-mind.

  • Everything is vibration so I look for ways of creating “good vibes” at home and in my self-care. Many sounds and scents can be uplifting. I believe that beautiful scents and sounds can clear out stagnant energies.
  • Aromatherapy:   incense, sage/herbs, salt bowls, wax melts, diffuser
  • Sound therapy videos – on You Tube, search “healing music” or “positive energy”
  • Chanting – see info about power of chanting, Om Tara, or some positive statements
  • A cleansing bath to remove negativity –
Using a combination of salts, herbs, and essential oils such as:  Sea Salt, Himalayan Salt, Epsom Salts; Eucalyptus, Lemon Peel, Rue, Hyssop, Agrimony; Rosemary, Lemon, Frankincense essential oils.

The Importance of Quality Sleep

Your mental health, your immune system, depend on adequate sleep. In stressful times, do focus on getting good quality sleep.

Try some herbal remedies before RX. I like Valerian.

Tools for Your Mental Health

***** Work with The Sun in meditation, sit in sun, or explore sun-related You Tubes – mantras, rituals, meditations, music.

***** From Empath Support Forum:
>>> …thinking about how you deserve to love yourself can be such a far reaching goal, but it’s possible – even if it’s later. Just stop the madness by getting yourself to a safe place. You are loveable. You are perfect the way you are. You deserve love. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.<<<<

***** This article lets you know you’re not alone if you are feeling depressed.

>>> Because no one tells you what to do when your life becomes a ten-car pile up during rush hour traffic. Because no one tells you how to tell the very people who framed your life and hung it up on the wall for everyone to admire the girl who has it all together that nothing is going right anymore.<<<

“People are finally waking up to the realization of their own power.

We are now at the ‘helms of our own ships.’

We may have given our power away, but we are now discovering how to take it back. “
